Links to external content

Where FilmKio links to or embeds material hosted on an external service, a report may identify the FilmKio page and the relevant external URL. We can review the listing or link on FilmKio; removal of the underlying file may also require action by its hosting provider.

Being publicly accessible does not mean a work is in the public domain or free of copyright. A listing or link does not grant permission to copy, redistribute or otherwise use the work.

What to include in your notice

FilmKio respects the rights of creators and copyright owners. If you believe material or a link on our site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice — FilmKio”.

Please provide the following information so we can identify and review your request:

1. The copyrighted workIdentify the work and the rights you own or are authorized to represent.
2. The exact locationProvide the exact URL of each page, file or link concerned. Specify the material you are reporting, such as a video, image, text or download link.
3. Your contact detailsInclude your name, contact information, a reply email address and, if acting for the owner, details of your authority.
4. A good-faith statementState that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent or the law.
5. Accuracy and authorityConfirm that your notice is accurate. For a DMCA notice, state under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
6. Your signatureInclude the physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.

Review & follow-up

We review identifiable reports and, where appropriate, disable access to the material or link concerned without unnecessary delay. If information needed to locate the material or assess your authority is missing, we may request clarification.

For follow-up, keep the previous email subject and reported URLs. You may also report another copy of the same material at a different address.

Reporting directly to us does not restrict your right to contact a hosting provider, search engine or legal authority.

If a removal was mistaken

If you believe material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, send evidence of ownership, permission or another lawful basis for use to the same email address.

A formal DMCA counter-notice has separate legal requirements and consequences. Disagreeing with a removal does not itself authorize republication. Reported material should not be republished merely by changing its domain or URL.
